Saul Leiter, who like a lot of us, spent decades working in relative obscurity, died on November 26, 2013. He was 89 years old. For years I have admired Saul Leiter’s work. It was very idiosyncratic and very much his own. Damn the art world and everyone else. I want to photograph. And that is what he did.
